What if the future of sport wasn’t about winning—but about wonder? “Fast Forward” is a speculative design story told through the lens of kids ages 6–12, where athletic play evolves with emotion, creativity, and technology. This concept builds an immersive brand experience that visualizes the future of sport through five thematic “play archetypes,” each inspired by real youth behaviors, movement patterns, and emotional triggers.

THE EXPLORER

Moves with curiosity in spirals and zigzags. Constantly in motion, drawn to discovery. Their play is guided by wonder, not direction.

THE REACTOR

Fast, instinctive, unpredictable. Reacts before thinking. Fueled by impulse and thrill. Movement is sharp, immediate, electric.

THE BUILDER

Grounded and deliberate. Finds rhythm in repetition and control. Focused on endurance and structure. Movement is slow, strong, intentional.

THE DISRUPTOR

Part of this concept was originally pitched to Nike Innovation leaders as a playful, forward-thinking experiential project. The footwear and apparel components were later added as extensions to build upon the initial experience.
